The “Time Capsules” are the visible face of a vast archiving project documenting our “Octors years”: from 1994 to approximately 2019. 1 At once a master of rhythm, a formidable percussionist, and a fervent advocate of musical direction negotiated with the musicians, Geoges-Elie Octors has left an indelible mark on our musical practice. As we pulled his legendary scores, annotated in colored markers, out of drawers, we came across photos, films, stage diagrams, and hundreds of funny and touching memories.
